Grandview sees RED after the RCRA!
December-30-11
Grandview enjoyed great success at the RCRA Summer Gold show at the end of July. Royal Rubinero, owned by Wendi Cutts, and Vivaldi, owned by Gail and Ken Kilgour, both made their debuts doing exceptionally well. Both ridden by Ashley Wright, Royal Rubinero won all of his classes, and was crowned Open Training level champion, in this, his first ever show. He received wonderful scores right up into the 70s. With just 3 months on Canadian soil, this coming 5 year old proved he has a wonderful future ahead!
Vivaldi, a lovely 9 year old Dutch mare, was purchased by the Kilgours only a few weeks prior, and showed remarkable poise. She won most of her tests, all of which were in front of the FEI judge panel, earning scores of 65%+. She was awarded Open Third Level Champion.
R.P. Ruby, Rene Hugye's lovely young mare, also ridden by Ashley, entered her 2nd show and showed great progress. She won all of her tests, with scores up to 72%, and was crowned Open First Level Champion.
Rock Brasiliano continued to gain solid miles in the FEI ring, showing in both the PSG and Intermediare I classes, with scores in the mid 60s in front of the 3 judge FEI panel. He won several classes, and was also crowned Champion of his division.
Fantastic results. Congratulations to everyone!
